It has a distressed look and if you scratch it it will change the color slightly and almost look vintage. The underside silicone is comfortable and does have grooves for airflow. I especially like the dark colored clasps and connectors as they match my space gray apple watch perfectly. I do not know how well this would look on a silver watch. I have fairly large wrists and this watch fits nicely and has room to make it larger if i need to. Installation was easy and the connectors locked into place as expected. The band is presented well as it comes with a nice box.
