They are great to put in the kids lunch box, but one of the other flavors, not this one, unless your kids like spicy foods. The only thing is that I don't remember these being *that* spicy! It's totally a bearable spiciness. Perhaps this particular batch was accidentally extra spicy. I would say between a 1 and a 10, it's about a 6 in spiciness. My only little pet peeve is the label.
