The speeds I'm seeing for file transfers are up to >1100 MB/s. Writes are closer to 1000 MB/s. A month in and it's done nothing but work. The pegasus software is not the best looking but it does what it needs to do.I wanted something reliable and something that didn't have to spin up the fans to 70db levels all the time. This has hit both of those marks so far. And the speed is much better than the Drobo 5D I was replacing. I bought the Pegasus because the Drobo wasn't reliable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best of the best RAID for Mac *by C***5 on Reviewed in the United States on February 18, 2019* I tried being cheap and building my own raid using another brand enclosure and other brand HDDs. It would work great then act weird. Promise does stand behind their products. They even helped me save my 8 drive raid when one drive went bad - 48TB of lost data. They did a TEAMVIEWER session and forced my bad drive back online and I was able to save all the data. So, I spent $4500 dollars and bought a 2nd PROMISE raid. The original 4 drive Promise array was running out of space as I was using both for Apple "Time Machine" and storing videos and pictures.The new Promise R6 array works well with the Mac Mini when interfaced with the Apple T-Bolt 2 to T-Bolt 3 adapter.
