He says it is warm and fits perfectly. It also looks very nice.It appears quality made without flaws or loose strings.My husband tested it out on a brisk near 0° night in Minnesota. It blocked the wind and kept his head warm. I Highly Recommend it to those who want a high quality, well constructed Trapper hat. The leather is soft and supple, the wool is warm and soft, the fit is perfect and add in the fact that it had a really good "limited time deal", plus an additional discount coupon available when I purchased it.... even though it would have been well worth the original price. Everything about the hat was so good, including the price, that I actually purchased a second hat for my brother-in-law for his birthday. He was thrilled to say the least. Cold heads and ears are a thing of the past for both of us now.Some buyer's comments say their hats ran small and needed to exchange for a larger size, but in my case I used the chart that was shown with hat sizes as well as measurement size. My normal hat size is 7 1/4 - 7 3/8 or L on the chart. The fit for me was right on. I'm not saying other peoples comments are wrong, just that in my case everything worked out as to the sizing/fit.I found the construction to be excellent. Seams were straight, sewing tight and even, and really like how the front wool part is permanently fixed and does not flap down. Zavelio has done a really good job and their products show it. They have a really good variety of colors and leather options to choose from and am confident other buyers will find just what they want. Once again I Highly Recommend these hats!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I like this hat a lot *by N***R on April 4, 2017* I had this hat on my wish list for a long time and bought it when the price was right. I don't know why I wanted it, it's a man's hat (I'm not a man) and totally wrong for my face but there it is.My head measurement for men's hats based on info gleaned on the internet is 23 and a half. I got the extra large and it's a comfortably snug fit. Perfect. The tiers are leather thongs and look pretty stupid tied on top of your head when you want to wear it flaps up, but you can tie them low in the back which looks good. The wool over the forehead is stitched in place - the wet will get trapped there and not run down into your face. So there's a function to that. The wool and leather aren't fragile. It's very warm.
