A: Creme Fraiche will keep up to 6 weeks if properly refrigerated.

**Q: Can this be frozen, or, is it not advisable to freeze?**
A: We do not advise freezing it as the texture will be affected: when thawing out it will separate and it will be hard to mix it back together or mix it in other compositions.

Tastes great, although it is a bit expensive. However, I went on youtube and FoodWishes shows how to make Creme Fraiche using cream and buttermilk. If you substitute a couple tablespoons of this Creme Fraiche for the buttermilk, you will duplicate the probiotics in this one. So for the cost of a pint of cream, you get a pint (16 oz) of Creme Fraiche. Look at his youtube (search for Creme Fraiche) and it will show you how to do it. I use the Yogurt function on my Instant Pot and it works great for the fermenting.
