Among other things I've done, I grabbed these window locks. It was a quick install and is a significant improvement. I didn't give these five stars for a few reasons. First, there is no usage guide included. Sure, I get that you can look at the product page here on Amazon and see how it works, but still, its nice to have it right there when you go to install the locks. Second, the guide here suggests you get felt protectors for where the bolt tightens to the rail but what I actually got were plastic pieces. They work fine but its not felt. Third, the little screw key things you get (why so many?) are hard to use. Luckily I had a screw driver and hex bits, which made it a lot easier. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth it so far *by R***T on Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2019* These are super easy to install and seem to hold better than a similar product I tried from lowes. It’s easy to place the lock on the window and tighten it, but if you have vinyl windows like I do, the lock itself is so thin that the window passes right behind it, they’re useless. Tried to upload a video but can’t get it to work. The back part of the lock is way to thin and I can’t reverse it as the key won’t fit in the window tracks. I’ve gone beyond the timeframe to return so now I’m stuck with these useless pieces of junk.
