I am fairly new to knitting so I confess that I do not know a great deal about wool or knitting but this wool is certainly better than other brands that I have used. I can knit well with it. The colour was how I expected it to be. I have previously brought wool from this company and so far, have not been disappointed. I am using this wool to make a large blanket.New info 29.5.2021.I have found this free chart online, (see photo). It gives an idea on how many stitches to cast on depending on the size of blanket you are knitting and thickness of wool / yarn you are using. It looks like the weight of yarn is given in American sizes so I have tried to put the English sizes / weights at the bottom in red ink.
