I also stay away from them because I never seem to get one that fits right. I mostly carry weight in my belly but have tone muscular legs. So either one fit or the other. I’m in between sizes 13/14 and I ordered a 14 and 12 because I knew pull ones tend to run smaller. Both sizes fit the same, I’d say that the 14 is more loose in the thigh, bum but the 12 fit perfect all around.
