Due to the slow drying process the color becomes light and pale, then the product is grinded. - This product is not an extract, it is a powder. The difference is that to produce any extract green coffee it is necessary to apply more temperature in a short period of time but during the process of spray drying they must use a chemical carrier (mainly maltodextrin). I had to use a straw to get it down in liquid.Putting all my powders into smoothies is inconvenient.BioFinest product has a great, pungent aroma, is medium brown/tan in color and strong taste, as you would expect a coffee bean powder to have. It took away my appetite for hours at a time and I highly recommend it.However, the Ecoandino Green Coffee Bean Extract Powder has barely any scent; is a pale sand color and no discernible flavor at all. It's just a bit crunchy. No appetite suppressant effects, even taking 1T, twice per day (normal serving is 2t, I was using 3t = 1T).Ecoandino may believe they have a quality product, but I know otherwise and have provided an alternative product brand so you don't waste your money on this product.It was delivered to me March 15, 2019, but when I asked for a refund it is refusing. Not sure why, yet. I took a big chance on this product and it bit me in the bottom. So, buyer beware.Update: Amazon appreciated my comments regarding this product and has issued me a refund, even though they are not required to refund on "food" products. Oh and if you’ve never had green coffee, expect to drink a cup of what taste like pea juice. It requires an acquired taste. I’ve noticed that I’m more regular in the bathroom and my skin has cleared up! But again, the taste is something to adjust to. 3 stars for this particular brand for being average.
