Review: Lovely Lamp - benefits are nonsense but looks great. - Been looking at these for a while, purely because I like the look of them and the warm tone they give off. I don't belief half the nonsense on the box about ions, helping breathing and blood flow etc, if it were true I'd imagine its at such a low level you'd never notice. That being said, it's a lovely lamp. It's of a good size and of high quality.....I mean it's a lump of salt rock, but the wooden base and electrical unit appears to be well made. Small bulb comes in the box also. Definitely adds a nice warm tone to the living room when it's on which is lovely, and itself causes a relaxing affect. Definitely worth buying but just be realistic if you're buying it for anymore more than it being a nice looking lamp.

A: Your chips will go cold while you find a file! I bought 1 off a xmas market stall 15 yrs ago. Still love it.

A: It will only cost the same as any normal lamp that is left on all day. It has a normal bulb that you insert inside the lamp when you first get it.

A: if you have a problem did you use PayPal? they are very good at resolving situations or sorting out a refund

**Q: Why is my lamp wet ???**
A: Because they are made of a natural material - salt - they 'sweat'. It is the water coming out of the rocksalt. Some sweat more than others depending how much moisture they have in them. It does happen and isn't a fault. Google it.

So... dont necessarily 'follow the herd' if you think this lamp will transform your breathing... look at the science... physical benefits are 'anecdotal' at best... I am basing this review on the lamp itself... It's an attractive, well constructed lamp that gives off a very 'soothing' light'... It may seem dull to start with, but your eyes soon become accustomed to it... and, whilst my eyesight isn't 20/20, I was able to comfortably read in bed with it... In my opinion, this is definitely a 'bedside table' lamp... a great choice for children's rooms if they don't like the dark... As I mentioned, I do my reading in bed before I sleep and, because the light is gentle and soothing, I find it very easy to get to sleep when I put the book down... In a nutshell... No health benefits other than paving the way for a good night's sleep... but that benefit on its own is a good enough reason to buy it... I definitely recommend it, particularly as it is so reasonably priced... Just be aware of what you are getting before hitting the 'buy' button.
