I was astounded at the difference this plate made! Prints just stuck to the plate; and I do mean STUCK. A buddy was over recently and asked how I liked this plate after using it for a few months. Since a print had just finished and the bed was still hot, I replied, "Well... You be the judge." and proceeded to lift my printer off the table by the printed part. I let the part cool and then pointed out how well the plate released the part by tapping it with my finger.I do see where people are complaining about loss of adhesion after some use. This is because microscopic bits of material are left behind on the bed during the print. Cleaning with IPA works well between prints but you must follow the included instructions which state very clearly you will occasionally need to sand the plate with fine sandpaper to fix this problem. I use 320 grit and sand until any "staining" is gone and the sound accompanying the sanding process is identical across the plate. I've sanded mine 3 times so far in the 2 months I've had it and my printer runs almost 24-7.If you need solid adhesion and long plate life, get one of the Mamorubot plates! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars A superior surface. What I have been looking for. 2 plus year Update *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2019* I have tried all kinds of surfaces including cctree, dobstfy, glass, etc. I do not like to use any chemicals on my build surfaces or prints and refuse to use tape. My main surface has been the dobstfy build surface but it had its downsides. If you are like me and print the same parts over and over (100s of them) the corners will start to lift on adhesive surfaces no matter which one you choose.The Mamorubot surface is lighter than glass, just as flat, and spreads/retains the heat much better. It is just a superior build surface from everything I have used. Mainly on PLA, heat it up to 50 - 60c and the part sticks and stays flat from start to finish. Most of my prints which are large frame shaped have always had a slight warp in them until I used this surface. The surface cools down and you can practically lift the print off by hand. I have not used my scraper in a couple days now. Do not attempt to remove the print until it drops below 30c. So far it has worked for dozens of prints that were mostly printed in the exact area and has yet to show signs of deterioration. I am confused at the negative reviews because this is something I have been looking for since I have started 3d printing. Will change the review if anything comes up.1 Year Update: This is still the best build surface I have ever found and after a year it is even better than I initially thought. It will gradually lose a little bit of its grip from when brand new after about a month of use but there is a simple solution. The solution is to just increase the temperature about 5-10c after it is broken in and it will last indefinitely. I used to use fine grit sand paper like others have recommended but that really did not do much for me. Cleaning with alcohol and increasing the temperature is the solution for a permanent build surface. I have not bought new build surfaces for over 6 months in my small print farm. And my printers run day and night for weeks at a time. I did notice that very few brands of PLA might have issues sticking to this bed but it is not the bed's fault, get a different brand PLA. Overture works really good. Simply the best build surface on the market hands down!!2 years or more Update!! - This stuff is a beast. I have not had to buy another since the first one I got. Now all my printers have these printing non stop about 20 prints per day for over 2 frackin years!!!! Other people that gave bad reviews must not know the temps that you need to keep this going. I maxed out at about 60-65 for pla and 80-90c for petg. Pics to prove the abuse I give them. Don't let the appearance of the plates in the pics fool you, they will last for years. 20 stars for this stuff. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good adhesion, great print quality *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2021* I am using this on an Anycubic Mega S, so it isn't a perfect fit (220x240x5mm would be ideal).Getting it level was challenging, but once I got that done, all the prints have worked well.I've used both PLA (at 60C) and ABS (at 85C).
