I'm not quite sure how to explain the fit problem... it's like the hat is too hard or firm and isn't really head shaped so when I first put it on, it is awkward and uncomfortable. I'm not sure if as I wear it my body heats it up and and conforms better or if I just get used to the firmness of the hat but if it were more malleable that would be very good. I gave it four stars because my spouse likes it a lot more than my previous winter walking hat and I really am happy with how warm it is. If it felt nicer on my head, I'd have given it five stars.
