I use it that way always as I think it is a complete waste to discard all that wonderful pulp. The only time that I use the strainer is when I’m juicing lemons to make lemonade in which case I don’t like the seeds and stuff to be in the lemonade. Just enough pulp get through the strainer with lemons to make the lemonade great. Great juicer. **Q: Is the cup BPA free?** A: My old lemon squeezer died on me in the middle of fulfilling lemonade orders. I end up squeezing lemons with my hands to meet my commitment for customers.
