## Description

Review: Doesn’t HD-25ii - Individual plugs for L/R ear phones did not fit my Sennehiser HD-25ii’s has to manually cut them down with razor and force them in. Not recommended
Review: Works with the Massdrop x Sennheiser 6xx - As the headline says, I used this on the Massdrop x Sennheiser 6xx headphones rather than what the product is recommending. I took a chance and it paid off. The metal connector ends aren't exactly the same but they are spaced correctly. The plastic part is MUCH smaller than the 6xx's but FORTUNATELY they snugged into what appeared to be a smaller socket within the larger slot. The original cable was inside the larger slot. If you check my picture you can easily tell the RED end has a lot of space around it. Another note about the build itself is the cable sagging a bit. You can see in my picture the cable dangling off the table. It has been this way since I put the cable in service and now the coil is sagging slightly. It does not spring back together as it once did. Not exactly a con because it only serves to make my cable larger and my doctor says it's natural with age. My major gripe about the cable is the general orientation. RED is RIGHT but on the Y split - RIGHT is shorter than LEFT. You can reverse the left and right but now sound is backwards and for directional audio it no es bueno. Generally speaking, just about every headphone, earbud, IEM, and so forth have always been left justified; The cable tends to be on the left if they lack symmetry. In my specific case my mixer lands on my left so I have a coil cable tugging across my chest when I turn to play piano. For sound quality they seem to be same as the original 6xx's cable. Some people might say the length of the cable will degrade sound and they might be right but I think the final loss count would be a decibel or two of volume (subjective). Using a basic Schiit Stack (Magni Modi) I just crank the volume. From my Yamaha MG10XUF they sound absolutely spectacular all the sounds coming in analog are just wonderful. Even when I stretch the cable to around 7 feet of total travel everything is unaffected. I wear them DAILY. I am unsure what the screwdriver and screw are for. Must be for the actual intended headphone series. Nice addition though.
