Although I am not necessarily a power lifter, I focus mainly on strength training with very heavy weights and a dry grip is very important to me. For years I have been old school and used chalk powder in between every other set. The powder works as it should, but is very messy and has to be re-applied often throughout the workout.Pros:Smells good - Reminds me almost of how that orange pumice GOJO hand cleaner stuff smells.Easy application, effortless removal - You rub it into your hands like lotion, and it melts right back off under water.***ONE AND DONE*** - Unlike my old powdered chalks that needed frequent applications throughout the workout, this stuff stays in place. You put in on at the beginning of your workout and it does not rub/fall off on the bars. It stays on throughout the entire workout.***NO MESS*** - My powdered stuff makes a mess. It gets on your clothes, your equipment, your flooring, and even in your eyes and nose on occasion.
