If you have noise problem is a bit complicated to control. At the end, you only control main output of all the mix. I have done this like you want and works as much as you have a good unidirectional mics to certain instruments **Q: If you run into a mono channel in mix mode, can you also run a mono out of that channel (in addition to the signal going to the main outs)?** A: Yes **Q: Does this unit provide phantom power to the audio sources?** A: I believe it does, but the manual is available on the Behringer website.
