The bad part is that the sharpness of the object being viewed has been reduced by about 50 %. Did all the focusing I could, clarity not coming. Will have to use the scope without it. Guess upside down objects are better than blurry ones. UPDATE - 24 hours later. This idea came to me in the middle of the night. I took the magnifying lens out. It and the eye pieces weren't seeing eye to eye, one was offsetting the other, now all is good. Things are nice and sharp again.
