I just wanted to show how we attached our lights. We ran them through the net hooks and it’s held up great and looks fine when lit up. Makes it easy to put up and take down. I also attached the battery pack and extra cord to the backboard, which takes an adult to turn the lights on and off, but the cord is long enough to attach lower on the pole. Low enough to where my toddler could even reach. The ball that comes with it is also bright and just as described. It lights up when bounced, but after it sits for some time, the light goes off, until the next time you bounce it. It comes with a lot of batteries, and we haven’t had to change one yet, so I can’t comment on how long each battery lasts. In 2022, this works well, has a long cord on the battery pack and a big hit with the kids. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars This is not a rim, but a sting of lights that go around the rim. Ball is great. *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on January 23, 2022* This is not a rim, but a sting of lights that go around the rim. Based on good reviews I purchased ball and rim light. My son was very excited, but ball had trouble lighting consistently. Due to work schedules it took me a few months to contact seller, I must say, I kept checking my email for a response and today when I got home, there was not 1 replacement light but not even a week after contacting seller! Very impressed with this seller and product as well! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/93725969-glowcity-light-up-led-rim-kit-with-led-basketball-included](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/93725969-glowcity-light-up-led-rim-kit-with-led-basketball-included) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
