As a result, he is fascinated by color and color combinations. This was purchased as a gift for him.For those that are card players, the game itself plays much like Rummy-- with "books" (colors in same family, i.e.: blues) and "runs" (cards in a rainbow sequence- roygbiv, akin to straights in rummy). The goal is to get rid of all of your cards, you can play on anyone's laid cards.This game is extremely fun-- and can be very fast-paced and funny, too. My father in law absolutely LOVED this gift-- and mentions it whenever we see him.
