You can set it to different 'speeds' and tensions, to either close the door very slow, or very fast. Pro: Easy to set up, but best to have 2 people. Can be set to different tension levels Wonderful for households with people who have mobility issues and have a hard time shutting the door behind them. Can be set to ensure it won't crush fingers as it closes Added security, the door often feels locked after this is used. I'm not saying it'll fool a burglar, but it fooled me a few times. Con: Can make opening the door a bit harder as the door feels 'heavy' once this is installed, but it just takes a short time to get used to it.
