I have terrible carpal tunnel which started as numbness and went into pain. I have been reluctant to get the surgery. I wore three other types of "full hand/wrist glove" braces when I went to bed for about 3 years. I bought one of these and it pretty much eliminated my symptoms. I only had one and had to switch hands all the time. I stopped wearing it because I was free of pain for about 5 months (first time in like 5 years). It is back in both hands and this time I am buying two.Now, the directions SUCK! And if you are wearing it wrong, it hurts. And it is friggin crazy how expensive it is for one, considering it is made of cloth and plastic. But I am buying two more, my old one is about falling off cause of the Velcro.Basically the curved plastic goes underneath on the wrist. It works because the "V" shape literally opens up the carpal tunnel going from the hand into the arm. Try to picture the "V" spreading the opening underneath when you put it on and then you will know you have it right. People, this is an amazing product and a lot of money but worth it in every way. It is the only relief I have found.
