I decided I wanted a brighter color. Also, a friend told me that Asics sneakers are very popular for comfort, so I went to a retail store to try Asics on and compare them to the Nike. I liked the Asics better for comfort, and so came back to Amazon to buy a pair, this time a charming green color. Everyone in my family was a bit shocked by the bright green color, except for my daughter who is a designer, and loved the bright green too. I prefer the Airmax 2013 from a fitment view - but these just look so dang good that I don't care how they fit, I like them a lot. I use mine, primarily indoors when I go to the gym. Shoes fit as expected, and were fairly comfortable during extended hours of use. These are designed for the runner in mind and are not generally made to be used as a causal wear shoe but I haven't had any problems when I have used them in such circumstances. Overall an excellent shoe that was priced fairly based on similar shoes.
