I have to say I was quite shocked. I have been using this hub 24/7 for the last few months now and I am very impressed. It works as advertised providing multiple USB 3 Type A ports along with Ethernet and HDMI. The passthrough power works great as well. I will confirm that it can get a little warm at times especially when it's used to transfer lots of data using multiple usb ports at the same time. However, this does not get so hot that it cannot be handled or otherwise unexpected. The attached USB C connection cable is a little short but for a compact hub it's nice that you don't have to fuss with finding a loose cable. Overall I would consider this unit a great buy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality device for using as a HUB/docking station. The 4k, HDMI, and VGA connections all worked like a charm. He was able to play 4k games and stream movies in 4k to his monitor. We really enjoyed the fact that the usb-c connector will actually fold up into the device to protect it while it's not being used. That was a very good design. The unit is sleek, comes in a great box with awesome packaging. It looks like a very expensive gift upon them opening it. The only issue experienced is the ethernet cable was dropping connection at times due to the port. He exchanged it without hassle with the company and was given a new one. Even when the USB C power lead was plugged into the laptop itself. This adapter requires that the USB C power lead be plugged into it. I could not get my USB mouse or my ethernet adapter to work unless I was using the USB C port on the adapter for my power lead.
