They are not really transparent, maybe "colourless" would be more accurate. From 3 metres they appear to me to be a very pale grey. They do work. **Q: Can they be used as door stops** A: Possibly depending on the gap. I've used them on tiled wall to stop handle hitting the tiles. G Williams **Q: Are they easily removed without leaving marks?** A: I'd say yes depending on the surface your sticking it on. It is essentially a really strong sticky glue dot. If your sticking it to wallpaper, a painted surface there's a chance when removing it would take a bit with. **Q: Can this be attached to a brick wall with no proper finish?** A: I haven't tried on brick but have found they stick better to a rough fence post outdoors than a smooth plaster and paint finished wall indoors (still on fence a year later whereas fell off wall after a few months!). The packaging has 12 of these amazing, transparent and almost invisible Bumpers. I think this was a great purchase and a small price to pay for keeping walls and floors in good condition. The adhesive is high quality and it keeps the Door Knob Bumpers tightly on walls and all the things I have glued them on to. I put these under a flower pot, for example, that I keep on my window sill, which is covered with glass or a wooden table. The glass won't break or scratch at all.
