Review: Boom boom - Good small Sub to supplement bass down the 40Hz region. Lower than that you need more than 8 inch or you will strain it. Note that the gain is very high, i.e. most of the sources are too loud for it so you need to put the volume very low (at risk of input distorsion). I had to feed the gain through a passive gain control to reduce the input signal strength further down and be able to put the volume half way on the sub. It delivers the "boomy" part well, not so much the "sub-woof" bit (because of its size). Well made and worth the price. Ideal for small-medium rooms

Good small Sub to supplement bass down the 40Hz region. Lower than that you need more than 8 inch or you will strain it. Note that the gain is very high, i.e. most of the sources are too loud for it so you need to put the volume very low (at risk of input distorsion). I had to feed the gain through a passive gain control to reduce the input signal strength further down and be able to put the volume half way on the sub. It delivers the "boomy" part well, not so much the "sub-woof" bit (because of its size). Well made and worth the price. Ideal for small-medium rooms
