Here in Central Texas, we get some cool months but in the Hill Country, due to higher elevations, we get frost and snow- not to mention gusts of wind that can knock you off your feet! I wear wool coats during the winter and since they’re always black wool, I like to dress them up with colorful scarfs. What I like most is the size because I can use these as a shawl while reading a book and it’s long enough to use as a regular scarf without it being too long and causing bulk in my fitted wool coat. As for how they feel: they feel soft. Really soft. The colors are what I imagined since I’m particular with my clothing. I’ve ordered seve different colors for different days as I anticipate that we will (hopefully) get snow like we did last year. Bring it, Jack Frost! But more importantly, it smelled like b.o. or mold, so I machine washed it, cold, delicate cycle with Woolite. Huge clumps of lint and yarn came off it, all over my washer and my floor! I knew it would continue to shed all over my clothes, so I threw it right in the trash.
