It’s definitely oil and fuel resistant. Doubt it’s waterproof. Once you wrap it on insulation. It’s hard to unwrap. Usually cut it off. If your wires are already insulated it shouldn’t make make a difference. This is the the same type of stuff used on car wiring harnesses for years before plastic. I’ve used on several bikes wiring harnesses , under tanks and side covers. Easy to use. Sorry a little long winded **Q: What is the total length of the tape?** A: It advertised 15m which is about 49ft. **Q: Heat proof to what degree?** A: I do not know exact temp. I used it on engine wiring harness on motorcycles. It has held up very good. Has been exposed to oil and heat with no problem. I will buy again. **Q: Does it work to fix near the car wheel rim inside part surrounded by the wheel that's partial torn,can we fix the interior car cloth and the rim ?** A: Not sure what part of the wheel you're talking about, but this tape is meant specifically for wrapping the ends of plastic wire loom, the plastic corrugated cover that goes over wire harnesses. I've been using it for a couple of years now in making and repairing wiring and wiring harnesses. The protection it gives against friction points is outstanding. Suggestion, always remember where the tag end is. A 1 inch strip is easily torn, but wrap it in 1/2 overlap coverage around a pair or a bundle of anything you want to protect. Then hope you don't have to open it up. It will fight back, hard!. See suggestion above. If successful, the conductor insulation doesn't have much adhesive remaining. The exception is when the wires are pulled taut (too short) after taping will result in black sticky residue, but not excessive. The tape gives the loom integrity. You can do OEM quality work. Photos are of new boat the Hummingbird leads are taped as a bundle, segregated tape at end of split loom. Trolling motor; it came with a generic internal transducer, so I installed an add on. Aesthetically, it works well for a very broad range of vehicles - foreign and domestic - manufactured from the '20s through the '70s.
