The Aqua-Vu Micro has a full color camera with 50-feet of 22lb test cable attached. The camera is about the size of a quarter. You can rig the camera to look straight up and down or sideways when its underwater. It features a built in light sensor that automatically turns two invisible infrared lights on and off depending on light conditions. Compared to traditional underwater cameras, this camera is much smaller and stealthier underwater. The handheld monitor has a 3 1/2" diagonal display that's housed in a water resistant case. I've had it on the bottom in 40 feet of water, totally surrounded by Walleye and they were clear as can be. My complaints though: it's extremely difficult to view in any type of sunlight, and it's a real pain to try to wind or unwind the cable. Couldn't they have put some sort of reel on the thing? It literally takes like 3 or 4 minutes to bring up from the bottom and re-wrap the cable. It is very simple to use....just turn on the monitor and start watching "the show". The camera takes good quality images and has a very wide field of view. Winding and unwinding the cable is easy to do due to its small diameter. Because of its size, the screen is not very big and under bright sun light, it is difficult to see any screen image so you need some kind of shade producer. If there is one capability that I would like to have added, it is the ability to send the image to a video recording device.
