It holds more water and will run over 12 hours since it holds a full 16oz of water. I couldn't find that kind of action from waaay more expensive ones. Most diffusers that I've seen seem to run about 5 hours. Diffuses particles so small that you never feel them but you certainly feel the benefits from the oils. It cleans easily. The one thing I recommend about ALL diffusers is that if you have hard water you should buy distilled water for diffusers. The minerals in hard water will clog up the little fan (or whatever that thing is....have never taken it apart to look at it). Anyway, this one is awesome!FOR SOME REASON AMAZON SEEM TO THINK I AM CONNECTED TO THE SELLER. I ASSURE EVERYONE AND AMAZON THAT I AM NOT! The colored light works great as a night light and can either be on, off, or cycle through a rainbow of colors, which is pleasant. This is a nice, large diffuser at a great price. It does need some space to sit on a counter or other surface, so pay attention to dimensions if you want something more low-profile. This is the 4th. I prefer this one to all of the others. It has a large capacity and runs for a really long time. I use 5-10 drops of essential oil and set the diffuser to continuous run. There is little to no motor noise - only the sound of bubbling water here and there - not loud enough to be distracting. There are a lot of "nightlight" settings with really fun colors or you can let it run through all of the colors on its own. The purchase price is what convinced me to buy this in the first place.
