It consists of a durable chrome plated steel. It is dishwasher safe made for an easy and efficient clean up.

I’m a 70 year old lady whose mom, grandma and great grandma all used these specifically and solely for making gravy over two burners with turkey drippings right in the roasting pan. But I actually use it quite often now that I have more time for cooking. It’s perfect for making all sorts of sauces. Sturdy enough to scrape up the brown bits and does a great job of blending ingredients. I bought a cheaper one at first but it was so flimsy I sent it back. I bought one of these for both my DIL’s as well. I told them (tongue in cheek) if you’re gonna be in our family you have to have one of these. 😊
