Well done gets it less tenderly- In my opinion it just ruins the prime rib experience it’s meant to be. Everyone has their preferences. But this is how it’s done in restaurants & After you cook the recommended time I shared, Allow 30 minutes for resting in the oven —followed by increasing the temp to 500 degrees the last 10 minutes to get that nice sear on the outside.
