A: Yes it will free spool. It will winch at about walking speed. A roller fairlead comes with the steel cable. You don't want rollers with the rope. I pulled a warehouse forklift out with mine straight pull. No problem. 7400lbs est

**Q: Is a plug included for the power so that the winch can be used in front and back?**
A: No, I ordered the quick disconnect wires & plug  so I wouldn’t have to have it “hard wired” with the included cables.

**Q: Is there a wireless remote kit for this model?**
A: This kit does not come with a wireless remote.

**Q: Is it possible to wire it to an universal wireless control? (the simple one with the 4-way connection - pos, neg, in & out?**
A: Don't know I have a hidden connector under my hood that allows me to winch freely from my seat
