I've had this several months now, and it still looks perfect. Really nice. Its a bit pricey, but works on our carpet so much better than any plastic chair mat. I have another computer workstation that has a plastic chairmat that is starting to crack. Just Wow. I LOVE THIS MAT! I have gone through 3 other mats, and finally I found one that will last. I use it on carpeted floor and over the years the actual carpet has gotten grooves in it from the wheels of my chair. The plastic/vinyl mats eventually sink in to the same holes. This glass mat solved the problem! I am a female 145 lbs, so I really expected the other mats to suffice, but they didn't. The cost of this mat was high, but not when you compare the price of going through several other mats over the years. I would love it if there was also a glass "tongue/lip" that extended under my desk, but I don't think they can do that with glass.
