I have seen a few negative comments about a loose seam or a spot where the thread comes out after first washing. You bought it from Amazon, SEND IT BACK & get another! Please do not let this deter you from buying this robe. Some explanation for anyone that cares. Back when we made things in this country, one of my jobs to get through college was in a garment factory. Like any other machine, sewing machines break sometimes causing either too loose or too tight stitching of seams. They are moving through the line so quickly sometimes a few slip through this way unnoticed. That does not mean it is a poorly manufactured product, it happens in all factories at times. I found nothing wrong with the robe I ordered and have placed an order for another one. The large/one size is very large and would fit a man. Most women will need a smaller size.
