Yes, it holds the cover art but you have to fold the art in half...which I knew...but then you have to fold the edge of the spine in half one more time in order to get the width correct so it it will fit in the pockets. The pickets are about 1/2 half inch too short in width to allow the cover art to fit with just one natural fold of the cover art.
