The wood is drier than most, and the raw edges are thicker and, to me, more beautiful. I just bought six packs and I think out of 180 slices, 5 or 6 weren’t usable for making ornaments (no holes, cracked, etc.), but I think that’s a pretty good return on my investment given the natural materials used. (FWIW: I bought 60 slices from another vendor a month ago and 10-15 weren’t usable due to cracking.) ### ⭐⭐⭐ Over half cracked to center *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2020* Purchased for making Christmas ornaments, would have given more stars if there weren’t so many cracked rounds. Ended up being almost half had huge cracks into the center of the rounds. The ones that were still intact were nice and great quality.
