Review: Perfect fit - Hanger Box was already on camper. This step fit exactly in said box. Cutting skirt was not a problem, cut 1.5 inches long, and folded it back with a rubber hammer. Staples held as a finish. Replaced a factory set of Lippert Solid Step. That thing is terrible, , jams door, heavy and hard to store, and deploy, dumps sand and water inside camping unit, NOT a well planned update! These traditional steps are a VAST improvement over the Solid version. Door now closes, and we have a nice sturdy set of steps. Installed the triple step version, perfect fit, If you are tired of the hassle of Solid Step, get this piece of equipment, 2 hours work, and you are good to go! used a floor jack to lift the set in place, no hassle at all. Dealer quoted over $500, plus labor of making a box. They did not even know the box was installed! What a rip they would have been!

**Q: What is the 'rise' of each step?  I can't find specs for this.**
A: Good morning and thank you for contacting LCI. The rise is 8". Thank you.

**Q: Will this step fit 2017 Columbus 5 th wheel**
A: All RV steps are based on exact measurements of your specific RV.  Width and mounting locations are critical to installing any steps.  If you do not match the mounting locations, you will have to perform some modifications to your RV frame to install the new ones.  Measure carefully before purchasing.

**Q: I have a 2015 Grand Design Solitude 5th wheel. will this step fit as original equipment?**
A: Our 2020 grand design measures 27 1/2 and this was 28 inches wide so we had to send back

**Q: The original steps are 27 1/2”. Will this item fit my opening? 5th wheel is a forest river Columbus by palomino.**
A: No. It says 27-1/2 but really needs 28. Mine was 27-1/2 and it fit but not great. Mounting brackets on rv are definitely spread out to make fit.

The Lippert Components 432696 Alumi-Tread Triple Manual Step was an exact fit for my 2015 Highland Ridge RV and was easy to install. It is so much more solid than the factory steps and I am very satisfied with them. They look much better also with the aluminum step inserts. I highly recommend. Measure the existing steps carefully before ordering.
