This is not an FDA-approved device.It produces of a wavelength of 660 NM.There is a problem with this device and that it's not as powerful as The Tendlite or the quantum Rejuvenation device.Watt rating of 0.425 W is weaker than the FDA approved devices running 3 Watts or 3.7 Watts.So it takes this device longer to give you relief than the FDA approved devices.The Tendlite and the quantum Rejuvenation light give relief in 3-5 minutes exposure.The DGYAO red light device Takes 5-10 minute exposure.Bottom line you get what you pay for this device is only $99Quantum rejuvenation device it's $149Tendlite red light device is $179.Our recommendation is to buy only FDA-approved red light and near-infrared light devices.Thank you, Wes and Wanda Anzai - Mililani Hawaii ### ⭐ Bait and switch, or just false advertising *by T***O on Reviewed in the United States on December 17, 2019* This therapy device was sent via Amazon and I received it in a timely manner without any damages.I have been experimenting with red light devices for the past couple of years and for me, they work as intended. I also like the fact that the unit is made of stainless steel and the position of on/off switch in the back, and not on the side like other light therapy devices. While I have treatment modalities that I use at home, I have a need for something portable, which was why I purchases this.This device, however, falls far short the seller's claim. In the product description the seller claims; " 1300 mW/cm＾2 penetrating power, and 3 watts leds offers better penetrating system." This is very impressive until I received the unit and noticed the box, picture included here, 0.425 Watt, and 135mW/cm^2. I don't know about similar units sold here, but this is just a very pricey red flashlight. And not a very powerful one as red flashlight in this price range go.One of the main reasons I purchased this unit was due to one of the reviewers here indicating that the light they purchased here was manufactured in Korea. This is a very good thing since Korea has quality control requirements for exported electronics, while some other's don't. As it is clear from my other picture included here, the light received comes from China.I have already ordered the $150 unit from another supplier here, and this one is going back as soon as I contact Amazon for approval. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product!
