Based on the datasheet info, I went with this Loctite #480 to repair the plastic grip on an old Amp crimping tool, mostly because this type is slightly less viscous and would coat the cracks and inperfections in the item to be bonded. After cleaning and bonding with Loctite #480, the crimp tool is back in the toolbox and useful. Warning to buyers: Wear rubber gloves, eye protection, and have adequate ventilation whenever you are using this super-superglue. Clean the surfaces with IPA and let them dry thoroughly. Solid, cured in the container upon recript. *by D***D on November 5, 2024* Just received this Loctite 480. Clipped open the spout and no flow. Discovered that the glue was completely cured in the bottle as seen in the photo. (The black is solid, cured glue that filled the spout!) NOTE THAT YOU CANNOT RETURN DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AS THIS PRODUCT IS NOT QUALIFIED FOR RETURN. A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY AND MY TIME.
