Look no farther! *by J***. on February 23, 2017* Some of the clays looked a little old, but i was able to condition them just fine with a bit of the liquid clay. Kato is so, so much more stronger than sculpey. Yes it smells a bit like vinyl, even after it cures, but I didn't have an issue with it. When I bake it, I partially cover it, but leave some ventilation. This way most of the unpleasant smell is contained, but any smoking of the material won't get absorbed into the lighter colored clays. I have had some pieces sag if they are left too warm after the baking is done, I have to remove them from the oven and remove the cover or things will sag. Ideally things should be propped up while baking. I am still tweaking my process but I will be using Kato exclusively as soon as I can. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Extremely difficult to condition, smells bad in oven *by S***A on November 13, 2018* I wish I had ordered this clay in summer!! I had difficulty with Sculpey & other clays getting too soft in summer heat. I never had any issues having to "condition" any clay - I was putting mine in the fridge! I read other reviews about Kato clay & thought perfect! Now that my house is cold, Scupley & other clays need conditioning & this set - the Kato - is like a brick! I have pounded it, rolled it, sat on it, etc. & nothing softens it to where I can use it alone. I mix it with other clays. Also while it's baking, it releases a peculiar smell that's not pleasant. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Only one blade *by D***R on February 24, 2017* The clay blade is too flexible for my needs. And the information promised two blades. They have combined them into one.
