This makes a huge difference by supporting your lower back while sleeping. The slant feels more comfortable & gentle this way. Hence it avoids back and neck pain usually associated with wedge pillows while sleeping. One can sleep both flat & sideways on this.I would recommend extending this line of pillows and give options having more height (> 8 inches).
