Once I was done "re-grooving" my wedge, the spin levels were higher than when I originally purchased the club SIX YEARS AGO!! Great tool for getting the job done. Just be careful around the outside of the face because it will scratch the face. Translating that into shot stopping spinners is another thing. Ball choice and green firmness plays into this as well. But I just finished 145 holes in four days and I think the tool helped in some instances, especially out of the sand. I would say give it a try.
