## Description

This is a custom hand made Brown (color may vary as each brown item is hand dyed) Holster for the 1911 4.25". Item# 0408 This holster was made for Inside the Waistband, it has 1.5" Belt Loops. This holster is made for the right hand shooter, left available as a custom order. We use 7 to 8 oz. premium Hermann Oak vegetable tanned cowhide leather, wet molded to fit the gun. Our recommended wearing position is 3:30 - 4:00; positioning the front of the holster with the side seam of your pants, the back of the holster towards your back pocket.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nice holster

I bought this for a sr1911 CMD. I've only had it for a day, but my initial impressions are very good. It fits the gun great, a little tight, but I expect it'll wear in just right. Overall the holster looks fantastic and feels like a quality piece of leather, particularly for the price paid. I have one minor issue, the holster was molded with the safety in the off position. I don't know anyone that would carry a 1911 with the safety off. I expect the leather will reform around the safety in the correct position over time, so it's not a big deal. If it weren't for the incorrect position of the safety I'd give this 5 stars.I'll update this review as needed as the holster wears in.

Very nice holster and comfortable. Some reviews I read said the place in the holster for the safety was molded for it in the off position. Not the case, I think it's molded correctly and works great. It rides in the proper place and is nice leather.
