The only concern I have is that they don't seem to be real durable. After 2 balls they lose their bite, even though I kept them nice and wet the whole time. They will continue to work for probably 4 or 5 but if your gear is heavily used you'll burn through these pretty quick.I use these with a SMarT type kit where you attach the pads to a cup that goes in a drill to rotate the pad and the ball sits on a spinner that you can rotate. So when I resurface a ball these pads are seeing a lot more movement than they would if you did it by hand. Take that in to account when I say they wear quickly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for bowlers *by R***D on April 7, 2017* Just got a set of 10 in the mail and what can I say but wow. Being a hardware noob I can say these are nothing like paper based sandpaper. They are more like a very very firm sponge. By hand I am guessing it would take years to wear them out. So far only used 4000 grit to take the factory polish off my new bowling ball (changing surface changes how the ball behaves on the lane) and was able to do it fairly easily by hand, in like 15 minutes and the pad didn't look like I had used it all. With that fine of grit its barely more taxing than cleaning it with a cloth. If you are bowler these are the set for you (with only 500+ grit like this set has it is virtually impossible to not be able to return your ball back to its factory finish quite easily). Buy these once and you won't need to worry about sandpaper for many many years. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful method to gain a glass-smooth finish. *by M***S on July 7, 2017* I saw this item in a Youtube video, and they are wonderful when used per the Youtube video. Wet sanding a table top. Just make sure you have applied several coats of finish (ie. polyurethane) so that you will not sand through and all pores are completely filled. Then gently sand, being careful to not sand through or catch an "edge." Periodically observe carefully at an angle. Just wait several days until the finish is completely hard and cured before starting.
