I suppose a lot of people just use their phones. What I want from an alarm clock is:* clear display that is not so bright that it lights the room at night* easy controls to use at night when you are tired* no annoying hum* no fiddly extra bits of information you don't need, like dates and temperature* remembers the time even during a power cutThis clock pretty much matches this spec, except that the display is a bit too bright, even on its lowest setting (there are only two brightness levels, which the clock automatically switches between on times of day that you can pick).
