All of them are about 50 inch. I can say that this one is strong and stable enough in windy condition (some of mine couldn't well fix the middle rod, so it would shake when operate in the highest level). It can hold my NEX5N very well. I don't know what the material is, but it's not easily bent. The rack controlled height is helpful and it is fixed quite well.Ones of the drawback I can see is the metal pin at the ankle joint always press on my camera making scratch which I prevent it by put a small paper between it. Also it cannot fix the camera very well in angular adjustment. By the way, it can be managed by adjusting the leg height and bend the camera somehow instead. These are the reasons I rate it 4/5 star.To sum up, this is a very valuable model comparing with the others with similar size though it's a bit more expensive. Helpful and practical for travel, but if you are aiming to use only in the living room, go for the cheaper one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Camlink Tripod *by R***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 May 2012* The first thing that you have to know about this tripod is that it is a lot smaller than it appears to be in the image. It is not a good tripod for video cameras unless they are very light and do not require you to pan or tilt the tripod so only really good as a stand which is what I use it for mounting monitors and microphones to it which does the job fine. Very light and thin legs but as I say is fine what what I use it for. Also can be used in photography although it isn't very sturdy. Its not very expensive anyway so what do you expect really? If you want video tripods try camlink's range of higher spec tripods for around 20-30 quid which are fantastic! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant product at a bargain price. *by R***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 August 2014* Absolutely brilliant for the price! Purchased this for my 12 year old daughter thinking it would be alright but I have to say it is excellent, surprisingly stable with loads of features.
