And though I love the nice sunny weather in southern California and Arizona where I spend most of my time the sun can be brutal. Because of this, I have to wear a hat for sun protection. Years ago I would have laughed if I was told that I would wear this type of hat, but now I won't go without one for sun protection.The SYNN Outdoor Hat arrived a little wrinkled but looks just like the pictures in the product listing. The brim material is thick and holds it shape well in windy conditions, but can be shaped or snapped on one or both sides.The bucket part of the hat is thinner and breathable with mesh running roughly ¾ of the way around the hat. The fit of the head size is not adjustable; my noggin is roughly 23 1/4" around which puts me right between a large and an extra-large. This hat fits a little snug on me but I am sure will loosen up after a few wears.The hat also has an adjustable chinstrap just as shown on the product page. The strap can quickly be adjusted by pressing the release button on the plastic strap holder and sliding it up or down the chinstraps for the right fit.Overall, the hat appears to well made and should take a few years of abuse as well as frequent machine washings.
