All in all, this was a shame, as it actually is a pretty little unit, There are no metal washers with to accompany any bolts for this unit. With some tweaks and attention to fabrication/build and a better quality of wood, (this is very cheapish) this unit could be a damned fine product for what would induce a minor cost to manufacture and produce, then it would certainly be worth the money, its got great character and potential to be better. I did make reference to the fact that I was not a heavy person, I am not, neither my wife, But, I reckon if you weigh any more than 90 kilo, the stool is going to give up the ghost and collapse, **advisory.. It may be worth while securing the unit to a wall with a strap or bracket, its very unstable and WILL tip over easily if knocked, as the legs front and rear are way too close together. Wish I could say better of this unit.
