However, cutting these large sheets to size is a pain - they quickly blunt a good pair of scissors which is not the best to cut for 1020 trays. Tried with a large guillotine - it's better but far from adequate! Worked wonders for small seeds like broccoli and radish, even the peas as the root is kinda sharp and stiff, but if you’re doing black oil sunflower expect to waste 60% of your seed. The coir mat had a natural faint pleasant smell of coconut fiber and cut easily with a utility knife as well as scissors. It was flexible and held its shape well without fraying or crumbling once cut (See photos).
