It may be the same thing in 7 months, but at the present after 6 power downs - This battery lasts 16 -18 hours on regular use. I have just used one right now. It is still incredible to have a great support system and good batteries. Thank you Acevan.I use a Galaxy Note 3 - The best battery was the original made in Japan that would hold charge for 36 hours for 2 years and then it got bloated and would not fit. So I have gone through Amazon's so called Samsung OEM batteries from China, Korea, and others 16 to be exact. Better late than never finally found a battery that would hold charge up to 18 hours albeit to 10%. This battery was it. The directions of 5-6 complete drain and charge was true and in the 2 weeks of ownership - you just read the outcome. So I am proud to say that I have already placed an order for another.6 months later ie November 2019 battery, loses power rapidly, gets hot, and is dead by 7th hour. This was disappointing from a decent battery at the start. The second and third batteries that I bought has now done the same. The phones original case back snapped on fine, as did the replacement case I bought for it.I've been using this battery for about a week now, and have had zero issues with it. I've recharged the phone several times, kept the phone on a battery-bank when in use occasionally, performed all manner of tasks on my Note 3, and have yet to run into any problems. Phone never feels hot, the battery seems to work well and I've definitely seen a noticeable improvement in how long the phone runs on a full charge.My old battery of 4 years now (Samsung Original) would deplete well within the day if I was using the phone a lot. I might be able to retain 12% by days end, which necessitated having to recharge daily.Now? I get about 60-70% battery left by days end which allows me to use the phone more and not feel like a 15-20% reading on the phone means it's going to die in an hour.The battery has held up. Time will tell of course.
